These semifinals for years have shown the folly of that idea.

more football between big programs ranked in the top 8 seems terrible to endure.

No need to expand.

Honestly believe there were multiple two loss teams who are better than OU.

You already have the games being played by these teams, why not expand and have those same games be a part of the playoffs. Plus it would include teams that are more deserving than the OU team you saw tonight and the committee's decision on bubble teams would be less significant because those bubble teams wouldn't be expected to get far anyway.

But still not deserving. If you are splitting teams based on unequal resume you are doing too much. Only 3 teams belonged this year. That's why who got #1 seed was so importan

It works at every level of organized football including other divisions within college football but you are right. It could never work.

Eventually it will sink in that losing more games doesn’t make a team “worse”. Bama is much better than OU, for example.

What was your favorite DII playoff game this year? I'm sure you were enthralled by that great format.

Yes, expand the playoffs. These trash ACC and Big 12 conferences being exposed.

Honestly, the SEC and Big Ten should just hold their own 4 team playoff. Two best conferences just play it off.

Expand the playoffs and cut the scholarship limit in half.

Parity would be more fun to watch.

The Packers won a SB after going 10-6.

Just sayin'....

Until FBS schools stop playing FCS schools, and the P5 & G5 separate, this line is horseshite.

It doesn't matter what any of us want. It's going to expand, because it means more $$$

Several teams blew their chance the last couple weeks. Baylor, Oregon, Utah. We would have beaten the dog shite out of any of those teams. Alabama is better than Oklahoma or any of those 3. Auburn probably is too.

The people who want playoff expansion just don't want those losses to count. Participation trophies for everyone!
