Penn over Kansas. Book it

This is my lock of the Tourney, Penn is a fantastic team and Kansas has nobody to go hard in the paint. You know all those cerebral guys will be keep their wits about them when up late. Not to mention these Ivy League teams are always sneeeaky.
But really. KU is only 13.5 favorites which ain't much, plenty of other games with bigger spreads. Definitely seems like the best chance of the all the 16 seeds this year

I like Penn and they should’ve been a 14 seed or so, but the secret is out - the fact that KU is only a 14 point fave is nuts.
Feel like Kansas will be ready for this one.

Kansas, who isn't even expected to be a top#4 team, is rolling. They will be a muther next year with recruits and transfers. This was a 1 year rebuilding year for them.
Still finished out to win big12, and is hitting on all cylinders.
Don't get me wrong, would love to see it happen, just don't see it.

0% chance it happens because everyone has been talking about it all week. When a 16 finally beats a 1, it’ll be from someone that no one saw coming. There’s been numerous articles saying Penn over KU will happen. I’m sure those are all hanging up in the locker room and KU will win by 40.

KU won't lose to Penn but this isn't a particularly great Kansas team. They actually got beat at home 3 or more times this year and lost more conference games than they normally do.

It will have to be a pretty good 16, first and foremost. Penn is the best 16 by Elo rating of all time. The spread between Kansas and Penn in Elo rating is the closest of all time between a 1-16.
That being said, Penn probably gets waxed.

Yep. Kansas is going to be ready to play. I was hoping this was the year, but our damn media overhypes everything and after hearing the chatter all week, Kansas won't be sleepwalking this one
