Pierce has had so many bad takes comparing himself to other greats that he’s become underrated. Top level player with the Cs but everyone who watched basketball during that time knew he was a notch below guys like Kobe or Wade. Now he’s just a meme.

he is one of the most desperate, look at me, former players ever.... it's quite comical.... he wasn't even the best player on his team in any season he ever played, and he thinks he's the best ANYTHING in the history of the NBA... 
I realize that he's just saying shite to keep his name out there in the minds of NBA fans, but god damn this is ridiculous

ok, I was wrong.... he was the best player for the early part of his career... I thought he and KG played together a lot longer than they actually did....
but the point still remains, Pierce GREATLY overvalues himself and his legacy in the NBA

I absolutely love the Truth and this is stupid on its front. One, he was actually a pretty good defender, I think he was on 5+ all defense teams. Second, while a good scorer, he had an extremely weird jerky style that does not scream "pure scorer". Third, he is just not an upper crust elite scorer like Durant, Jordan, Curry, ect ect.
Maybe it's just me, but when people say "pure scorer" I assume they were borderline dog shite at all other aspects.

He’s high on Paul Pierce, as he’s been his entire career. Thank god that Kevin McHale decided to do the C’s one last favor with the trade in ‘07 or Paul never wins shite in his career. Also, it’s Not a surprise that his KU choked like dogs in ‘96 and ‘97 with him leading the charge.

Pierce isn’t even top 20 all time IMO. He’s top 20 in pts all time, but there are better scorers who didn’t play as long
For example, Pete Marvich was one of the best scorers all time for sure but nowhere near top 20 in pts
