According to Hoch that actually was a catch he said it was simultaneous to the second foot coming down. The second foot was down clearly before

That 2nd throw was fine because the clock stops at the 2-minute warning, but that first throw was so stupid. That was either a TO or 30 secs to the Patriots.

I didn't get that. Looked like the foot was down to me. Whatever. The rules are so fricked up now anyway.

How do people no get this by now?

When catching the ball already in the end zone, you have to gain possession of the ball and complete the catch while in bounds.
When you're a RB or WR who caught a pass in the field of play, all you have to do is cross the threshold of the goal line because you already have established possession.


Pretty simple.
