Again, I don’t think he is hands down the best QB right now, but is top 3 for sure and the most successful to date based on some significant advantages afforded to him.

As I read it, the whole thing is manufactured by the media.
If Chase rolls over and claims Mahomes the best I feel he is being a bitch.

Built for the playoffs? KC was 1-4 in January under Andy Reid

Pat made the Chiefs into the juggernaut they are. KC was a joke in the playoffs. Couldn’t even beat the Marriott Titans in the Wildcard round

Kansas City made the playoffs in 4 of the five years before Mahomes became the full time starter including two trips to the divisional round.
Compare that to the Bills 1 time in the previous twenty years before Allen becomes the full time starter.
Or the Bengals hadn’t been to the playoffs in 5 years before Burrow took over.
If you are starting the 100 meters race at 50 meters while the others are going from the start, it is a slight advantage.
That again doesn’t mean Mahomes isn’t the best QB right now. It means people should look at circumstances when trying to claim he is so amazing.

Alex Smith had Reid, Hill and Kelce but didn't put up the numbers Mahomes is and didn't have this kind of success in the playoffs.

Yeah...no. He was giving an interview and said Joe Burrow is the MVP and best player in the league. Reporter said "well what do you think about Joe saying Pat is the best?" Chase questions the reporter "who said Pat?" Reporter says "Joe did, he said he thinks Pat is the best player in the league right now." Chase pause and smirks at the reporter asking the question, "Pat who?"

Chase is right. It took the refs cheating for mahommes to finally beat cinci. If it wasn't for the refs, burrow would be 4-0 against the "best qb in the league "

Mahomes/Chiefs = Brady/Pats where as Bengals/Bills are like Manning/Big Ben. They might get a couple but Mahomes will dominate.
