Hinging the season on a RB carrying the ball 20+ times a game is bold. He'll get hurt at some point.
I would say every NFL starter gets hurt/dinged up throughout the season, the question is the severity and the ability to play through the pain if the injury is not considered severe.

Last night was fun and Walker will be ok our backup rookie RB Emmett Johnson looks good enough to give him rest. The issue is our WR'S are not getting separation and running bad routes. That has to change immediately or game 1 will be forgotten quickly.

It’s been almost 4 years since Mahomes has been able to push the ball downfield. He has been a stable mid level QB the last 3 seasons
And that’s coming from someone who said his first 86 years in the nfl was the best of all time

Denver had one of the worst tackling performances I’ve ever seen. Mahomes only had 180 yards passing, and I can think of three plays off the top of my head that totaled maybe 5 air yards, but resulted in 100 yards receiving because of awful missed tackles.

At one point in the game he was 3 for 13. He was far from elite last year and as a Chiefs fan I think they should be looking in the next two years draft unless they have the guy already in the fold.

No, the same was not what we saw Monday. 18 total combined air yards is almost unheard of man. Hasn’t been seen in 20 years….

Turns out the horrible INT wasn't Mahomes fault, Worthy ran the wrong route. Also I think a lot of teams are regretting not getting starters some playing time in the preseason.

Patty Cake is done. He's been a lucky system QB for the past 4-5 years and that was before he ever had to deal with a major injury. He will be forced to retire by age 35 or so. He's Horrible. Lucky for him, he has a great play caller, great RB, great defense and refs in his back pocket. Otherwise, he'd be out of the league in 2 years.
