The Pac-12 is in the midst of its spring meetings, and Larry Scott spent most of his time Wednesday talking about his conference’s standing in terms of revenue when he wasn’t taking what appeared to be a shot at other conferences.

“It’s pretty apparent our schools do not singularly focus on how to skate through as easily as possible,” Scott said

“One of the reasons we’re looking at this right now is our schools feel a tremendous amount of financial pressure,

More likely calling out Clemson and the SEC for playing an 8-game schedule

Ill be sure to remember this when the Pac12 favorite loses to a middle of the road SEC West team for the 2nd straight year

He's right. They don't skate through, they constantly have to deal with an incompetent commissioner making their job harder at every turn.

Mid major conferences usually feel financial pressure, so better get used to it.

I was a little confused, but then I remembered that Larry “Michael” Scott may well be the biggest idiot in college athletics.

Why hasn’t that guy been fired yet? The pac12 has been a fricking disaster under his reign

That's an insult to the former regional manager of Scranton's Dunder Mifflin branch. At least he kept his location profitable.

He's saying other Conferences do the bare minimum and focus on a few sports and skate by Title IX.

While Pac-12 schools play every sport and therefore have to spend the money to fund tons and tons of women's sports by honoring Title IX and not doing the bare minimum and that creates a financial strain.

That seems to be the textbook definition of “honor before reason”.

They are screwing the pooch in the two sports that actually bring in money while throwing a ton of money at a bunch of loss leaders.

How does this guy still have a job? Oh yeah, schools like USC and Washington (and probably a few others) have lousy, inept university Presidents.

I'm pretty sure Michael Scott could have made the Pac12 Network more profitable than Larry did.

Honest question: What is the PAC-12 biggest OOC win since the USC-Penn State rose bowl?
