He was our #2 most of the year before getting hurt and getting Verlander

When he's on he has the stuff to dominate (see game 4 vs NYY and game 7 of relief vs NYY). But if he's struggling with command things will get very interesting with the pitching staff

Have faith fellow DAT’ers. All was preordained.

We needed Ryno to get us past the Yankees. His mirror, Prom, the patron saint of positivity, was the only choice to for this last game.

7 hours from now #Earnit will change to #Earnedit.

I have bitched and complained and melted for many a game this season but we have arrived to the finish line. It is time to cross it. I love this team and all of its imperfections.

Win or lose, I am proud to be an Astro fan.

A few thousand fans in the stadium already. I got more fingers than people in orange. You know how sweet it would be to be yellin like a wild man by myself in a sea of blue. Please Astros give me this moment!

Verlander gets the final 3 outs of the game to win the Series.

No matter what happens I agree with this. This team has fought like crazy and always stood back up.

The only fitting way for tonight to go is we all go through the super depressed state of “why do I let sports affect me so much? I’m never getting emotionally involved again” only to experience pure jubilation a few hours later

I’m excited for tonight. Nothing to get nervous about, we either win or lose.

Last possible game of the season. Literally nothing before this day or after it matters.

My mind keeps running through scenarios where we win and the scenarios where we lose. It's mentally exhausting

Hitting will take care of everything. We need at least 11. Altuve and Correa have to get at least two apiece. Them going ofer will not get it McCullers needs to get thru 5. Take the crowd out early and often with clutch hitting and a stingy defense. This needs to be the start of a decade of winning. Go Stros, give us 6 months to tell the baseball world they can kiss our Orange arse.

Win or lose, it's been a fun ride with you guys this season. I hope the drama is limited tonight and we crush their souls. The future is bright with these guys but that's another thread for another day. I just want to see that bull one more time.
