Has Rich Hill being a complete dumbass with his "we were the better team" talk been discussed yet? Jim Rome was roasting him over it today.

Looks like my earliest post was in 2010 against the Giants. We were shut out.

Has the question of why we waited until game 7 to wear orange jerseys been answered yet?

Why is it so hard to understand?

They're the closest franchise to Louisiana.

Houston and pretty much all of South Louisiana share a special bond because of the oil industry.

It's very similar to people from Mississippi, Alabama, and the Pan Handle being Saints fans.

I mean, hell, Houston is 3.5 hours away from Lafayette.

Bullpen... Bullpen.... Bullpen

I mean Beltran is the only regular that is a FA then you have Liranio, Clippard, Gattis, Maybin, and maybe one other person who is a FA.

Gattis isn't a FA. It's Beltran, Liriano, Maybin, Gregerson and Clippard I believe.

I think we will try to add 2 bullpen arms (LOOGY and good back end guy) and then another DH type, whether they're through FA or trade. I don't think there will be any earth shattering moves though.

I don’t mean to brag buuuuuuut based on that thread and what I remember, I’m pretty sure I created the first DAT

I know originally DAT was used to piss off CE Tiger (huge Cubs fan) who ran a fantasy baseball league on here that I was in called DAT Fantasy Baseball League (based off of Who Dat?)

It kinda just suck over the years because the acronym fit perfectly

Bring back Bud Norris who had a decent season with the Angels

Bryan Shaw or Joe Smith, Brandon Kintzler, Edwin Jackson, Glen Perkins to stash

Maybe a Mark Reynolds or Logan Morrison type DH or do you think they go versatile/young

Over the eight years of DAT existence you have never changed your style, I applaud it despite our many fights over the years

I would take a hard pass on Bud Norris and that didn't end great.

I like Shaw Smith or Kintzler. I could see them dealing for a younger versatile player to fill the DH role that would also play in the field somewhere, probably OF/1B. And Kyle Tucker will be up sometime next year to play OF also. Hinch rolled out the same lineup in the playoffs but rarely did so during the regular season.

FA isn't kind to the DH types, Nunez is the most versatile available it seems.

Astros don't need much with Verlander, Kuechel, McCullers, Peacock, Morton, Fiers SP and the hitting is young. Bullpen is really the main weakness unless they catch the unhealthy breaks
