In case you missed it, World Champion Houston Astros will have a parade starting at 2 p.m. Friday in downtown Houston ending with a celebration at City Hall.

Just heard that on the radio as well. They couldn’t do it over the weekend because of “prior player engagements”? WTH?!

Hey buddy. Please do start up the offseason thread. You gonna be out in at the parade? We are thinking of coming in for it.

Also, anybody seen TickfawTiger or any of the other mega-negaStros?

Cant believe they freaking did it! Holy Toledo!

FYI: SI is selling prints of that 2014 World Series prediction cover for $20, framed prints for $80. LINK

One thing I did not include in the Correa story: He revealed that he injured his right thumb in #Astros’ walkoff celebration in Game 2 ALCS.

Correa said he received numerous injections in thumb, revealing series of needle marks. Still had .866 OPS in playoffs and .817 OPS in WS.

That doesn’t sound good

I think those are the 4, but I assume you mean ALCS Game 2, which not only featured Pettis waving in Altuve on the walk-off, but also a 124 pitch (93 strikes) CG W from Verlander.

Luhnow and Crane don’t care about winning. Derek Fisher is a bust. Houston will never win a title with Luhnow.

Saw some talk about the DAT days of yesteryear and it reminded me of this thread. Unfortunately it’s too old to bump.

So when does DAT open enrollment start? What's the application process? I've been lurking all year, casual fan since 2006 but really only started watching when my cable got Root Sports. Went to every playoff game except game 4 (you're welcome, I'm sure they'll send my ring in the mail for my contribution).

Anyway, I'm in. Gonna be going to a bunch of games next year bc buddy got season tix.

I'm sure there's an entry test so I'm studying up, memorizing all the prospects, reading through the Hooks' roster as we speak. I'm also good at making managerial decisions, self-deprecation, and drinking IPAs. Oh, and it moves a little bit when Orbit dances.
