LSU bought a heiaman QB and won a title, is that different?

Who is defending LSU?

You want to live by the sword of buying up superstar starters from other teams you should die by that same sword when others who didn't know they could play by that rule outbid you (like you did prior) for your own developed stars.

No one has said otherwise in this thread.

And Ohio State won the title with 3 same year transfers, y'all acting like we brought in 20 of the best dudes in college football

Our NIL was primarily to have guys come back for a fourth year rather than going pro.

And who exactly didn't know the rules? That's just a dumb statement.

Good for the OSU WRs. It’s a dog eat dog world, better go get it now, then risk injury and be working as a bank teller in Columbus. *cough* Prothro *cough*

Who are you talking about here? The freshmen we brought in who weren't developed? The center Bama couldn't wait to get rid of? The grad transfer from Kansas State? Missouri just paid Penn State's backup more.

What’s to stop smith and downs from finding another team to try and win a title with?
Ohio st loses a ton of talent
They could both go to Texas and try and win another one

At this point, Ohio State should just be an expansion team to the NFL

Nothing, but there is no indicaton that either is considering leaving and I think they only have until the end of the day to declare for the portal.

This can’t be true. That would be tampering, which the NCAA said is illegal and there will be punishment when the culprits are discovered.

Or is it only tampering if someone like Ball State or North Texas does it?

That’s grand when Ohio state paid 20 million dollars to build a roster last year.

Was it tampering when tOSU took Judkins from Ole Miss?

No OSU wasn't looking for a RB and Judkins called OSU after Ole Piss wouldn't pay him after paying transfers.

Honestly, it’s in their best interests financially to leave. This whole thing is a disaster, but the players should maximize their money.
