I remind my friends of this every time we see some hilarious coaching mistake. These guys are as dumb or dumber as your high school coach making $40k, they just got really lucky by being former players or right place at right time moments

The performative shite like this is so corny

Unbelievably stupid, just more of the "if you're not 15 minutes early then you're late"-type bullshite that might work in lower levels of High School sports but not for a Division 1 program with some of the country's best talent.

It makes sense why their QBs struggle in the pros (outside of Herbert) so much if they are only asking them to make two option reads in the passing game
Snap, is it chocolate or vanilla, throw.
If the coverage is strawberry you are fricked

Chocolate or vanilla ice cream?
Finally a question where I can use the GIF for the first time...good job coach.
Some people see the two as a pair, hand in hand, so its like picking a favorite child...there can be hesitation. Better question!

man i really should have gotten into coaching

Whichever one is already open, coach.

Hit him with a no hesitation "It depends. What brand?"
Then his arse is gif related because what kind of dumb question is that?

Nothing translates to live gameday football action like a verbal question from a coach a recruit is trying to impress.
It's such a random question too, people, are obviously going to hesitate when they think theyre being asked a trick question. This guy deserves the clowning he's getting

Exactly this. People act like coaches are delicate geniuses and forget that they're all ex jocks that skated through middle and high school then college without actually learning anything but football. All any ex player has to do is get hooked up with a GA position after their playing days and bam career set for life. They don't even have to be good I mean Willie fricking Taggart is still coaching football

Tom Brady is the only QB taking vanilla

No

He’s not unique on this. David Cutcliffe used to do something very similar. It was edgy and cool like two decades ago

If he asked chocolate or vanilla women there would be no hesitation.

it is an incredibly rare to have a mixture of high intelligence and indiscriminate brutality

With brilliance like this, he'll be on staff in boulder in no time.

Where are they playing in front of 110,000 fans?

After a quick answer I’d ask him “Bud” or “Yuengling” in return.
