One Year Ago Today, One of the Greatest NBA Feats Occurred...

After blowing a 17-point lead in Game 6 to send it to a decisive Game 7, the Rockets found themselves in a familiar position: up by 15 at one point in the first half, a trip to their first NBA Finals since their highly-asterisked titles WAY back in the 90s.
Then, it happened, something which the likes had never been seen before (kids, shield your eyes):
The Warriors go on to win by nine, proceed to their third NBA title in the last four years, and the Moral Victory Champion Rockets have yet another banner to hang up in the rafters, just like Harden's number at the strip club he made it rain at that night, except those bills missed the stage as well as the MSB rejoiced

That could easily be another banner in Toyota center.

A James harden led rockets team lost at home, in an elimination game, to a warrior team that was missing two all stars

Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to GOAT.

To be honest, I don't think a team could intentionally miss 27 threes in a row if they were shaving points and didn't just chuck it into the 15th row every time.
It really is staggering.

I forgot the Rockets were that close to the finals. The Rocket fans on here are annoying as ever, but last year's rocket team was very dominant. That was a truly remarkable season for them, yet because of that massive choke job it will never be remembered outside of Houston.

What if I told you Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker watched this game from the bench?
2-11, 10 points, 6 turnovers.

Decade+ long troll job going on Jordan/Lebron on this website. Ironically enough "knighting" for Kobe.

Maybe the greatest moment in basketball history. Hope to one day tell my grandkids about the night the Houston Rockets missed 27 straight 3-pointers with their season on the line.
Some records aren’t meant to ever fall. Well done Houston.
