I wonder what Lane is thinking if Ole Miss goes on to win this whole thing?

No matter what anyone says or how hard it gets spun, he would not be happy

And if for some reason LSU didn’t work out for him, it would probably haunt him forever if he is capable of those types of feelings

Obviously I think he’ll do great here but the point remains the same

Who taking this loss harder? UGA or LSU fans lol

This LSU fan was pulling for Ole Miss. It's cool seeing LSU's future stars ball out.

Watch Ole Miss win a NC without him and Lane pulls a USC at LSU.

It never made any sense though. Ole Miss dominated AT UGA for 3 quarters. They melted In the 4th with refs help but it was obvious Ole Miss was the better team that day...and today

Hey man I thought OM had a better shot than people were giving them credit for too going into this. But the point of this thread was specifically LSU fans...but it seems all fans of other schools, and gamblers, didn't give Ole Miss a shot. Unless the whole country consists of LSU fans idk why LSU fans are being singled out.

Logically it doesn't hold up either. A lot of these coaches and maybe some players will be on LSU's team next year so why would it displease us for them to look good? I personally can't wait to see this be brought to BR

Lane gets another 500k this round after getting 250k rd 1. Coming out of LSUs pocket. I'm sure he isnt crying over it.

Why cause they played to win a playoff game? How else do you approach the playoffs? Hope not thinking about your rival not in the playoffs.

He built the team and the coaches that are coaching. Wait til next season when the offense has their new coaches and players. Let's see if you think they don't need Lane at that time.

Nothing Ole Miss does at this point matters to me. We hired Lane to coach us next season and onward from there. That’s what matters. Ole Miss could win it all this year and it would be no different from my standpoint than Indiana doing it. I would actually be happy for them as I have no animosity towards Ole Miss.

I don’t know why some people think the coach on game day matters a whole lot. The team was built over years. In the offseason. Throughout the season. That’s where the work was done. It doesn’t matter much who is wearing the headset in January.

Josh Pate just had a great analogy. Kiffin is like the gold digging wife that divorces the husband, and the day after the divorce is finalized the husband wins the lottery.

He reminds me of Freeze when he was at Ole Miss not the broken shell of a man that was on the plains. There were games that he looked like the best play caller in football then we would lose to Memphis and a terrible Florida team. Losing that Kentucky game last year is equivalent.

Yes, middle finger by the team that *checks notes* Lane built in to a CFP title threat. In Oxford.
