Only way to say for sure is if the camera was mounted on the upright at a perfectly level 90 degrees up viewpoint

With all the places they can stick cameras these days (3 of them in the pylon), I cannot understand why they don't have them on top of the uprights so that made/missed can be determined definitively (and be challengeable).

So it being called "TigerDroppings" with a purple and gold color scheme throughout somehow makes it NOT an LSU board because it's "the best board for sports around"?

Y'all act like it's somehow an official website of your state or school for some reason.

Why are you so resistant to admitting it's an LSU message board? To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

Of all the comebacks you could have used, that's the one you come up with?

Pathetic...just like you hanging out on an LSU fan forum and acting like it's not one.

Wrong.

To make sure the ball is completely inside the upright.

Through? Sure. Directly above? Not so much.

Over the upright is no good. Entire ball must be inside upright

Jordan Jefferson beat Alabama at Alabama in 2011. There was only one team that year that was beating LSU, and they needed a second chance to do it.

Boom.

LSU 2011 was the GOAT until LSU 2019

Jordan Jefferson didn’t manage a TD in that game and accounted for 3 total first downs. He didn’t beat anybody, officially or in your delusion. The D and Alabama’s kicking game got us that win. You’re the type of fan I argued with before the bowl game who kept saying we’d win by 10-13 points. I kept telling you guys there’s no way we could score against them with JJ and when I said score I meant at all. It amazes me to this day that fans like you, who hold these two games in such historical significance, still have no clue what happened and how clear it is to people who know what happened in game one and knew what was gonna happen in game 2.

Of course our defense won the game, but JJ running the option got us some helpful yardage.

What kills me is that it was an bad snap that caused Lee to throw his first INT… a good snap, he gets in rhythm, we might win more comfortably and they can’t rationalize the mulligan.

This line never makes sense. It's the best board for sports around. It being started by an LSU fan is irrelevant.

It's called TigerDroppings and is LSU themed but ok...

Bama was getting that mulligan regardless of if LSU won 50-0. Now, had Oklahoma State been Oklahoma or Texas, then that's who LSU would have played in the title game.

ESPN wanted a brand to win badly. Not only that, but LSU won what they called "the game of the century". A game Bama was supposed to win. When they didn't, ESPN made it a self fulfilling prophecy.

2019 was great and all, but 2011 ruined the sport forever. NIL will be the final nail in the coffin.

If Les wins that championship, it likely alters the timeline on his departure from BR and means Burrow doesn't come to BR.
Yep, and everyone, except Okie St. fans, knows LSU would have killed the Cowboys, or anyone else, that they weren't having to play for a second time. Weak-minded Les stewed about the rematch, and allowed his team to stew about it throughout their bowl prep time, instead of nipping that bellyaching in the bud when the match-up was announced. Those players were complaining about having to play Bama a second time, the day before the game. When I saw that I knew LSU would lose.

If 01/09/12 doesn't happen, LSU is still recruiting guards to play OT, and converting 4-star DT's to play FB. No thanks.

Do you blame them? Their entire careers, they were told "Every Game Counts". It was even the slogan ESPN pushed for years in CFB......

Until one of the darlings couldn't win what they considered the biggest one in decades.

Had LSU lost in Tuscaloosa 9-6, they would have gone to the Sugar Bowl, which was the correct thing. If you don't think LSU's players didn't know and understand that huge double standard, then, well....

Either way, this new "eye test" approach is working exactly how it was intended to work for the right programs. Bama has benefited, what, three times for this now? I know it is at least twice.

Give other programs those types of chances and see what happens. The sport may actually be fun again to watch, but that won't happen.

Bama literally just lost out on a national championship because a team they beat earlier in the year got in. Hell Bama beat them by 17 in what was basically a road game. Yet not a single Bama fan complained about the rematch
