None until I had a small bowel obstruction and that's when they found it. Obviously very aggressive, but my last two scans have shown no progression and the tumors are stable.
I'm six months in at the age of 55 and just finished my 16th round of chemo last week. I was getting colonoscopies every three years because of family history and a history of polyps. Doing what I was supposed to be doing, so this was a shocker! I'm going to find a way to beat this. It may take some time, but I'll do what I need to do until we find an answer.
KFG!!!
Appreciate it. I've sat in the upper deck, first base side at 1pm games before and we were in the sun. I'll check this out.

CWS tickets for cancer patients

Posted by Tall Corn on 6/2/26 at 7:40 pm
I am a recently diagnosed stage 4 colorectal cancer patient and I'm chemo for life. Chemo and the sun don't mix well. This is a longshot, but does anyone here have access to or know anyone who has suite tickets or shaded seats that they are looking to sell, preferably relatively cheap? Our Tigers aren't there, but I'm and avid college baseball fan that loves attending the CWS and hanging out with fellow Tiger fans even when the team is not there.
Thanks in advance!
That's my plan. Don't know how yet, but I'll get there! KFG
I retired this year at 55. Stage 4 colon cancer. Health definitely puts life and retirement into perspective. If you can do it, do it!
Gen X, 55 and retired last month. Worked in the U.S. my whole career.

Family history. Been getting a colonoscopy every three years. Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in October. That shouldn't be happening.
Pull the ripcord and enjoy life!
Your path to retirement sounds a lot like mine. Worked and saved the last 30 years with the goal of retiring at 55. I turned 55 this past year and while financially able to retire, I decided to work three more years at the most with the ability to shut it down at any time between now and then. I was then diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in October. I'm retired now. Time IS precious. More isn't always better.

AF since 12/26/24. I've got a lake house that I spend every weekend at. It was surprisingly easy not drinking and being around others getting crocked every weekend and for years I was one of them. Not saying that I'll never drink again, but I'm content right now.

Your gravy has eyes!
I worked with an AFL team for several years. When the league started, players were paid baseline salaries with some incentives. They were able to get a CBA per say and teams were unable to pay the salaries the players were demanding. That is at least part of the reason the league was not sustainable.

Zona is in the Big 12. UCLA, Big 10.
