Tulane wasn’t in a major conference for most of them
True, but they were in the same conference as LSU for most of the games played. (63 of 98 games played
SIAA (1893–1922) LSU was 13-6-1
SoCon (1923–1932) LSU was 2-7-1
SEC (1933-1965) LSU was 24-5-4
LSU was 39-18-6 in those 63 games. 31-4 in the 35 post Tulane leaving the SEC.
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were in the same conference for 69 of their games. 64 in the Big 8/Big12 (1960-2023), 5. in the Southwest Conference(1915-1919).
I would say the series is comparable in scope, though Tulane is not on the same level as Oklahoma State in most people's estimation.

You can leave this part out.

Battle for the Rag 70–22–6 in favor of LSU. Tulane's last victory was in 1982.
Bedlam 91–20–7
LSU almost certainly wins the 20-something games they did not play in the last 30 years, and that looks just as one-sided as Oklahoma vs OSU.
Reading and math difficult for you?
Reread my post.
22 wins is more than 20.
PLUS.....if Tulane and LSU did play those 20 something games Tulane would still have a chance at winning more than the 22.

90% of college football fans weren’t even alive when the Tulan/LSU games ended

The LSU played Tulane every year until 1994 and played 6 more times between 1996 and 2009. You think 90% of this board were not born in 1994?
You should leave football to the rest of us.

I wasn't discarding your math, I was simply stating the two series are similar. Apologies if that came out the wrong way.
Most of Tulane's wins came before you or I were born. Since the start of WW2, Tulane beat LSU 7 times, 5 times since 1949.
Oklahoma State has had most of their wins since that time. 13 since the start of WW2, 9 of those since 1995.
Again, no offense intended. Tulane was PIA for LSU even in a lot of those wins.
Tulane does have the dubious distinction of being the only team that Curley Hallman beat every season of his college coaching career, 7-0 against Tulane.

Have you been on this board much?

OU should. Soon to fall into the abyss like Nebraska. Sure, piles of $$ coming in, but football relevance will diminish quickly.
But you have the softball and gymnastics nattys, so you have that!
Maybe, maybe not. I don't see how that has anything to do with my question about who cares about the future of Oklahoma State?

43 Years is a long time

The OU fans around me don’t seem to care much about it and don’t seem to miss it, but they could be posturing. The oSu fans seem to miss it more

That's a very fair statement.

meh. A&M would rather focus on other schools then get stuck with those 4
Funny because all of us founding members in the SEC would rather not get stuck with A&M on our schedules either. A&M more so belongs with the other expansion teams.

OSU won 2 of the last 3. And 4 of the last fourteen. And about half the 10 losses were by 10 or less points. The rivalry had gotten better.
The scary secret is Oklahoma isn’t that good anymore. Norman scared.

We don’t need any of these rivalry games.

I’m not buying that. They had one losing season in the past 25 years. I wouldn’t count on the Sooners laying down and becoming Nebraska/arkansas. They’re more of an Ohio State/LSU tier program.

No reason to be so angry

Having worked up there... those ol boys are very, VERY passionate about either OK state or the Sooners
