Shame on a society that destroys people over one time symbolism rather than lifetime substance.

I hope any player who complained tears his ACL the first play of the season and never plays again.

An OU reporter tweeted that he heard the team hashed everything out.

What is there even to hash out?

he did nothing wrong at all. Context is dead. We live in a dumb society.

It’s fricking idiotic.

There isn’t one person who supports/works for/played for/was recruited by who does not love Cale Gundy. He’s a legitimately good person and he is OU through-and-through as a former player and coach. There isn’t anyone in the world who epitomizes OU football more than him.

As an OU alumnus, it’s mean email time.

Leave it to a university's administration to ignore their minority student athletes to appease upset white people who aren't even attached to the school.

That’s the thing, I haven’t actually seen anyone who is upset by this. If someone in the university community has an issue with this, they should speak up.

Sounds like Venables can’t maintain focus, discipline, and keeping quiet within his program.

Gundy doesn’t deserve to be around that tard toxic bullshite. Sucks, but good for him for getting out ahead and leaving.

If I was a sensitive OU fan (of which there are a lot), I’d take this bait.

I’ve never actually heard Joe Mixon talk. I have only seen him beat up a woman. I wonder if he actually wrote that.

It’s a power thing. They can say it but you can’t and if you do we will ruin your life as much as possible. It’s sad.

Wasn't a player. Sounds like it was another coach from the new regime looking for an excuse to purge a member from the old regime. There's more to this story that might not get out according to ol' coach Pat Jones on Oklahoma radio this morning. He also says there are some OU big wigs not happy about this. Trouble brewing in Norman.

But remember: Leftists will tell us all that it is those on the right that are "nazis" and want to put everyone in "cancel culture".

This is the clown world Progressives have created. Enjoy it!

The lunacy of all of this in today’s world. Black folk can call each other the same thing with no accountability. Music is promulgated dropping this word and calling women bitches, whores, etc. Nothing is said as it’s specific to the “culture” or being used within the “community.”

Cale took accountability for use his of the word (good for him), but he took it too far in resigning, especially against the backdrop of how that word is used and overused in parts of society.

LOL.

Oppressed idiots like Ryan Clark would have gotten on ESPN to destroy this guy's life as fast as they could. He did the right thing. Hopefully the guy has saved his money over the years and just retires.
