How disgusting. The player who wasn't doing what he was supposed to do AND had the word on his, err, a school issued Ipad will go unnamed and unbothered by this.

Cuck world. Take your lumps if the job deems it unacceptable, but my god, stop with the apologizing AFTER you get fricked by the unequal and unrealistic social justice bullshite.

It’s fricking idiotic. There isn’t one person who supports/works for/played for/was recruited by who does not love Cale Gundy. He’s a legitimately good person and he is OU through-and-through as a former player and coach. There isn’t anyone in the world who epitomizes OU football more than him. As an OU alumnus, it’s mean email time.

You bet your arse his brother is trying to get him on his staff in Stillwater. I would also bet that Sark is trying to get him on staff in Austin. Cale has so much experience and can help recruit the state of Texas. He won’t be out of work very long.

The only question is, would Cale go to a rival to get revenge on OU?

Sounds like a Venables decision to me. He’s off to a solid start I guess.

Otherwise, the players readily agreed it was nothing that should cost him his job. Venables is the only common denominator I can think of. Even then the whole thing makes very little sense.

Oh God.

This is by far the most ridiculous post I’ve read here in a while.

He can wait till OU bolts for SEC and then join his brother’s staff in Stillwater.

Brent Venables on Cale Gundy: “Coach Gundy resigned from the program because he knows what he did was wrong. He chose to read aloud to his players, not once but multiple times, a racially charged word that is objectionable to everyone… This is not acceptable. Period.”

From Feldman

I thought the dude just read it one time and had a whoops. Buddy kept saying it. Dunno wtf he think would happen

Well it’s one thing to read the text once. Saying it over and over… that was never not going to end well

Yeah I’m not calling for his firing or resignation, and don’t even necessarily think he should be booted off staff. But I feel less sorry for him after the initial statement

But the players call each other that, and it's ok.....
