I can’t imagine throwing millions and millions of dollars at high school kids just so your school can win.

This

If you have that kind of millions of millions of dollars, you’d think you’d be smarter in how you spend it

These kids are sacrificing their bodies. They honestly deserve to be paid

They get free schooling, free training, free use of training facilities, free coaching, free room and board. What's the third-string long snapper worth?

The old deal was pretty good. And they damn sure don't deserve a penny until they enroll in the school they will attend.

Well for one it’s gets you in the room with the power brokers in your state.

What’s the price tag on the governor/legislature of your state having a favorable opinion of you and your business pursuits?

The kids want to know where they are on the pecking orders… because schools will pay that for some to visit but not others

Recruiting has to be such a shitshow for coaches nowadays.

Interesting how Alabama is declining now that what they've done for 15 years is commonplace and the playing field has been leveled.

As an ex auditor and CPA, I'm moderately excited to see all the tax fallout from this.

It's actually 21%. One school out of 16 makes up 21% of the players from the conference in the NFL. It's a larger disparity than you thought.

the number of big 10 players in the nfl I googled included the pac-12 schools already. My bad

Well the days of staying in the Dorms for a visit are over...you need to fly 1st class, stay at the local 4* hotel, eat in a fancy restaurant.

No worries. I'm a fact checker.

Ohio State, ttun, PSU and Iowa make up 64% of the Big Ten players in the NFL.

It’s not a terrible idea.

Hey dad, OSU wants me to visit. I already know I’m going to Michigan. Should I go?

Ehh, ask for $5k.
