So, wait, it's the roughing the passer penalty that gave Texas those 7 points? Wasn't it on 1st down on a play that gained 6-8 yards anyway?

Bad explanation if that's what the ref thought he saw. Looked more like the defender lowered his head to hit with the top of his own helmet, which is also a 15 yard penalty.
