I really hate to bet against the Tigers, but Arky has to be the right side this week. Right?

I'm still in thinking aloud phase. Why do you like Navy?

South Florida -10.5 against SMU....what am I missing?

South Florida can't score a lick, but it still seems like it should be higher.

Ive yet to look into it much but, I think Navy is just more physical that GS. Really hard to judge where GS really is due to the weak schedule they play.

Absolutely. Here are the results since 2008 the week following a loss to Bama:

2008 - Barely beat Troy in Tiger Stadium (Troy was up 31-3)
2009 - Barely beat LA Tech 24-16 at home
2012 - They did bounce back and beat Moo St at home 37-17

2/3 you got a terrible effort. Now they have to go on the road in the cold with their anemic passing game against a team starving for an SEC win who plays LSU tough every year. Who do you think wants to win this game more?

@Andrew_Gribble: Just how real is the LSU hangover? Alabama hasn't scored a 1st quarter TD in the game directly after LSU since Saban was hired.

Does PJ list his picks against the spread? I'd like to bet the other side and clean up.

FSU only -1.5 against unranked Miami...

What am I missing? I want FSU to lose but I feel like you have to back this line

Forgive my ignorance....but what does 2008/2009 LSU have to do with the current team? Complete new squad of players/chemistry. Are you thinking its a coaching issue?

And its no slight towards LSU because as a Georgia fan I can predict stuff like this as well, but I think LSU wins.

What does this have to do with this year at all? LSU went 3-0 in the games you listed and beat the breaks off of the only conference foe they played and overcame a 28 point deficit (the largest comeback in the history of the school) with a passing game that wasn't a hell of a lot better than this year's.

I have no idea and I highly doubt you do either. It isn't like they can ruin anything for LSU. LSU isn't playing for a playoff spot. It would be huge for them yes, but they certainly aren't playing the "spoiler" role.

More power to you if those give you comfort in betting on Arkansas though.

Toledo QB came out for a few minutes about 30 minutes ago with a heavily taped ankle before going back into the locker room. Downgraded to doubtful.

Arky has lost 17 straight SEC games and are favored. Not with my money.
I get why people want to bet against LSU this game. But Arky is ridiculously untrustworthy.
