that is exactly what NEVER means. He will NEVER be one of the greatest. He is a has been. He has no emotional maturity and he is not a kid anymore. He fricked up his knee with his style and he has not yet figured out a game he is comfortable with, instead of his old style.
In my opinion, he will NEVER again be what he used to be.
He is now in the top echelon of ACHIEVEMENTS.
NO one can take that from him.
But dont bet on him winning any more majors.
He might. anyone MIGHT. You get out there and hit a few and maybe the ball bounces for you. But he is no longer THE MAN.
He is "just" one of the 40 top guys, which is still good for anyone.
