What is really sad is the info that is out there ALREADY regarding his "innocence" and the fact that his attorney is actually representing him. Talk about a lack of morals.

Not really. We still live in a society with due process. Even the worst criminal gets due process because it is designed to protect us all.

I think this type of incident generally is a bailable offense.

I get that from a rational/legal standpoint. It is outrageous from an emotional one. And I can't put my emotions aside in this case. It is really unconscionable how the victims in this whole scandal have been the the last to be protected.

I don't find that sad or immoral at all. It is part of a system of justice designed to protect us all. He has every right to be subjected to that system.

Not for $100K. Hell, they remanded Michael Jackson's doctor into immediate custody because he was "a danger to society." I know he was convicted, but, outside of a serial killer, who is more dangerous than Sandusky?

No matter how big of a piece of shite he is, he's entitled to legal representation and a fair trial

Can someone maybe do a timeline in order of the key events that are relevant to facts of this case?

Especially after watching Millen I understand former players being upset. He said that he gets very angry about it but wants to hear the whole facts. When you play football you respect the hell out of a coach especially a guy with the reputation of Paterno. It would be the same thing if somebody said that about your father. Its tough to let go of that sometimes and believe that the person in question could do such despicable things

I feel sick for our players and our seniors that have to deal with this on senior day.

I get that. I am pissed about what this guy did and I hope he suffers for it. I just don't think the legal system should be thwarted in this instance simply because it is a publicly outrageous crime. He deserves the same process as every other disgusting criminal.
