He just moved into second place for most Stanley Cup Playoffs wins for a HC all time.

Behind Scotty Bowman who most likely will never be caught

Game just got weird - Penguins scored obvious goal that refs immediately waved off, then it counted

Flyers score immediately after

Steve Levy is a fantastic hockey play-by-play announcer in my opinion.

He's so much better than some of the chicks they've had calling games. Those are horrible games to suffer through.

He's so much better than Buccigross. Leave him in the studio where he belongs.

I think the NHL's adding a team in Utah will end up being one of the most successful expansion moves by any professional American sports league in a long time.

It's taking off quickly. Getting the seating fixed in the stadium next year will go a long way too I think

Utah is a hockey town. I remember the Utah Grizzlies games.

I'm brand new to the sport but I'm enjoying it. The one thing that's killing me is how late these games go. This thing started 20 mins late and then I just end up falling asleep during the long break between the 2nd and 3rd

The west coast games are awesome but late

The timing usually gets better round 2 and on but the games are fewer

First off, welcome to the new obsession on an annual basis.

Secondly, unless you're a fan of someone on the western side - that totally makes sense. It's a struggle for those of us in CT (and especially ET) that root for MT/PT teams. Almost always guaranteed to get the 9pm CT start unless on a weekend, when the NHL gives you the "reprieve" of a midafternoon weekend start.

Just enjoy it as much as you can. As this first round starts winding down, as metallica said, the times get better (and the games get more intense, usually), but you're not able to watch 6pm to 12am hockey on a nightly basis.

There is NOTHING like playoff hockey.
