Thinking of taking the under in BC vs. Wake Forest. Neither team offense was all that impressive last week against inferior teams (Presbyterian and Villanova)

Handicapper on the Bill King Show has Georgia St. (+10) to outright beat UT-Chattanooga. He was also on North Dakota St. last week to outright win.

Just a heads up.

I really like all 4 of these, as does 85% of the rest of the public. But I'm gonna end up pulling the trigger anyway. Public is right sometimes....

I really dont understand the Oregon love on this board

Yeah, the ducks destroyed Nicholls, but there is huge difference between nicholls at home and Virginia on the road. Virginia just beat a pretty solid byu team.

They are flying cross country for a day game, recipe for sleepwalking if there is one.

Oregon could come out clicking and bust this game wide open, and i would totally expect it if it was a night game and chip kelly was still there. But i wanna see what they do against a real team before i bet the house on them.

Solid post. Again I don't plan for us to win but I think Oregon is getting way too much credit

UVA averaged 2.9 YPC and threw for 114 yards on 32 attempts against a defense that is worse than Oregon's at 9 out of 11 positions. Gonna be tough sledding.

Well you might need to wait another week. Who's to say how good Virginia is? 200yrds of offense against BYU? BYU did nearly 1.5x that on them. Oregon should move the ball fairly well. Personally, I just dont think UVA can keep it within 20. I'll take my chances on the few remaining points.

The fact that I'm siding with Oregon has nothing to do with Nicholls St.... at all. Personally, that 66-3 win has no relevance other than business as usual for the Ducks.

I'm making my standard unit bet on Oregon because I think they are kinda of like Alabama.

They can easily blowout anyone at any time because they are a superior football team who's athletes match their scheme perfectly.

Now THAT'S a solid post. A majority of the time I try to stay away from the overly obvious "square" bets. But teams like Bama, Oregon (and LSU in opening games), are just too good at what they do. It's not that I'm discrediting UVA. It's moreso that I really believe Oregon can win by a large margin.

Their defense is constantly underrated and shadowed by their insanely fast and explosive offense. Even the best teams have trouble stopping it. UVA should be no different.

Out of curiosity, what's that pay with all those heavy favorites and then Oregon & Texas thrown in there?

Payout is just under 2.5 times the wager. (If you look at it, I bet Texas ML too, only line is Oregon).

I just toss a crapload of heavy ML favorites on top of a couple straight bets to raise the payout. Hit one last weekend betting LSU -4 along with about 15 other ML plays.

Georgia sophomore S Josh Harvey-Clemons will return this Saturday against South Carolina. Harvey-Clemons was suspended for the season opener after being involved in a drug related incident this summer. Beat writers said the school practically built their defense around the talented young player. "I think he could play inside backer, I think he could play outside backer and I think he could play DB," defensive coordinator Todd Grantham said of Harvey-Clemons. Georgia's defense is quite young, so Harvey-Clemons fits right in.

UGA is going to bounce back in a big way this weekend.
