Illinois? Kentucky? I'm waiting...

ETA: The Vegas "market" rankings I read have the following ranks:

Cal
Colorado
Purdue
Kansas
Wake
Illinois

Kansas and Purdue are the two worst. I don't see this being arguable.

And you're comparing them poorly. Wake would work over Kansas.

Just like Wake rolled over for zero points vs. Cuse?

Whatever. IMO, on a neutral field, Wake isn't rolling over any BCS team, Kansas or not.

I'm not going to argue which turd stinks more

Have locked in LSU at +11 and +11.5

Also liking Stanford + the points at home against Oregon. But prolly gonna wait to lock that in. I see public $ coming in heavy on Oregon on Thursday and the line maybe getting toward +12 or even +13 by game time.

Also watching the Mizzou line. If it drops to -13.5 will be all over it.

I'm looking for two teams to finish a 4-team monster (13 point) tease. I have Bama PK and LSU +26.

I'd tease down Mizzou to -1 for one of your two teams.

My preliminary thoughts on this week's lines:

Already Locked In:

50 BG-23.5 at horrendous Mia-OH
55 BG at -1750 over horrendous Mia-OH

50 Ball State-19.5 vs. dogtrash Central Michigan
55 Ball State at -1150 vs. dogtrash Central Michigan

100 Oregon-10.5
410 Oregon at -435 (the 410 represents the amount to win, not the amount at risk)

40 Oklahoma at +481 (here the amount at risk is 40)
30 Oklahoma+14

And now onto everything else:

Louisville -28 @ UConn: UConn is just unspeakably bad at the game of football. They've played two teams way worse than Louisville who have beaten them by more than 28, and the one team they've played that is pretty much on par with Louisville, UCF, beat them by 45. Louisville should win by 35+.

New Mexico-2.5 at home v. Air Force: The fighting Bob Davie's should win this comfortably. Air Force is real bad. And, yes, New Mexico is also bad, but there are many levels of putridity, and NM is a two levels above Air Force in the putrid department.

Western Kentucky -6 at Army: The Hilltoppers have been hit or miss this year, but they are definitely the better team than Army. I had this spread at WKU-9.5.

Penn State+2.5 @ Minny: I probably won't bet on this game, but I'd lean PSU if I did.

Mizzou-14 @ Kentucky: I'll be throwing down both on Mizzou ATS and also on the ML. This is one of my favs of the week.

Vandy+10 @ Florida; I think Vandy may win this game outright.

TTU-2.5 v. Kansas state: TTU is just the better team this year, and they're at home. I had this line at TTU-8.5. Needless to say, I'll be trying some Kliff Kingsbury on for size.

Auburn-7.5 @ Vols: I'm not betting this game because I don't bet on or against my own team. But you should bet on Auburn. And you should be ton Auburn big.

Tulane+9 @ UTSA: I would need to do a bit of research before throwing donw on this one as I don't know a ton about either team, but just looking off results, it doesn't seem like UTSA is any better than Tulane. They look pretty even to me.

Hawaii+17.5 @ Navy: Hawaii had a really bad game last weekend, but other than that game they've been very compettive in nearly every one of their games. I don't expect this game to be any different.

MTSU-18 v. FIU: i love betting against the worst teams in the country, and FIU is inarguably one of the worst teams in the country, but MTSU hasn't destroyed a single team all year. So I may just lay off this one.

LSU+13 @ Bama: I love this line. This game is always close. And I have no reason to believe it will be anything but close this year.

UCF-10.5 v. Houston: I'm a believer in UCF. I'm gonna keep riding them.

Southern Miss+15.5 @ La. Tech: Southern Miss is goddamn terrible, but La. Tech is really bad in their own right. A team as bad as La Tech shouldn't be giving 15.5 points to anybody. But I just can't bring myself to back a team as bad as USM, so I'l likely lay off.

Wyoming+10 v. Fresno: Fresno's habit of winning all their games by three points is going to bite them at some point this season. And I think this might be the game. I wouldn't be shocked if Wyoming won outright.

UCLA-1 @ Arizona; I just think UCLA is markedly better football team.

Notre Dame-5 @ Pittsburgh: Okay, so Notre Dame had their close call against an inferior opponent last week. This week they bounce back and win comfortably.

My only thought is that I want your bankroll.

I also think there is a good bit of value on Oklahoma in this game. They are a good squad. Much more talent than anything else Baylor has faced this year. Just not sure if I can pull the trigger on it.

I see this as being a popular pick this week, and I see no reason to go against it.

I like this one too. We will see if Florida has any heart this week, or if they will just roll over for the rest of the year.

Actually I like a lot of these, including TTU and Tulane also. I think we might end up on a lot of the same sides so I hope you have a hell of a week.

I've had a good season and so i'm up quite a bit with my guy. Being up gives me the freedom to really lay the wood on a game I love. And Oregon qualifies.

You'll notice how much smaller the wager amount is for Oklahoma as compared to Oregon.

When it comes to betting dogs, I'm a bit of scaredy cat.

i'm with you on bettin on my own team... if anything, I'll bet against them for a 'win/win' situation.... but I just don't get this line.

Even taking the fact that it's in Neyland, AU is just not a good matchup for UT... we've got speed to get to the corners on one of the slowest BCS defenses out there, and UT is the worst rush defense in the conference, while AU is the best rush offense. Flipping sides, Auburn has defended spread teams pretty well this season while struggling to stop pro-style rushing attacks (LSU and Ark).

Auburn has been killing spreads lately... 7-2 on the season with 6 straight ATS... most games Auburn has covered the spread by 10 or more...

so, in other words, we're due for a letdown...
