It's costing him 2k to win 400? Yeah, that's gambling. I personally like Oregon to cover but we could win by 10 and look dominate the way they play football.

Louisville -28 @ UConn: UConn is just unspeakably bad at the game of football. They've played two teams way worse than Louisville who have beaten them by more than 28, and the one team they've played that is pretty much on par with Louisville, UCF, beat them by 45. Louisville should win by 35+.

Probably my favorite play of the week. I don't think UCONN will score a single point. Seems like 42-0 or something like that.

Penn State+2.5 @ Minny: I probably won't bet on this game, but I'd lean PSU if I did.

I'm on Minn. Penn State doesn't cover away from Beaver Stadium.

LSU+13 @ Bama: I love this line. This game is always close. And I have no reason to believe it will be anything but close this year.

I think LSU is the only play. I like LSU in teasers as well.

quote:

Auburn-7.5 @ Vols: I'm not betting this game because I don't bet on or against my own team. But you should bet on Auburn. And you should be ton Auburn big.

Once again Vegas is disrespecting Auburn.

I've been waiting for this game for weeks. I knew it was going to be the only Oregon game all year with an ML low enough to really throw down, and so that's what I'm doing.

I just think this Oregon team is really special. Reminds me of 2008 Florida or Oklahoma in that they appear to just be firing on all cylinders and are virtually unstoppable offensively.

If I'm wrong, and I lose, then I lose big. But that's why they call it gambling, right?

I don't see Oregon laying an egg. Stanford really isn't that good. They are good but overrated BC of past years

It's (potentially) costing me 110 to win 100 on my ATS play.

It's (potentially) costing me about 1800 to win 410 on my ML play.

If Oregon covers the spread, I win 510.
If Oregon wins but doesn't cover the spread, I win 300.
If Oregon loses outright, I curl up in the fetal position.

Even taking the fact that it's in Neyland, AU is just not a good matchup for UT... we've got speed to get to the corners on one of the slowest BCS defenses out there, and UT is the worst rush defense in the conference, while AU is the best rush offense. Flipping sides, Auburn has defended spread teams pretty well this season while struggling to stop pro-style rushing attacks (LSU and Ark).

Is your speed with the receivers or the running backs?

I don't see Oregon laying an egg per say but if any team knows how to stop Oregons offense its the Tree

Should be a great game. Best of luck DeonG!

we have some speed at both positions... malzahn will use RBs on speed sweeps to the corners... will also throw quick passes to the flats to out-flank defenses. We also use bubble screens to the WRs, which has given UT some trouble this year.

The overall depth and talent isn't great at WR, but there is a good bit of speed.

I'm not gonna argue with you and I do agree that aub is the right side.

But you really lose credibility when you use "we" as since they are you favorite team and you are somewhat blinded.

The only reason I'm saying this is so you know that you don't get all pissed off and this turns into a flame war over how awesome aub is ect. I agree I think auburn is the side just trying to save you some time in arguing

Agreed on Stanford... Oregon struggles vs. physical teams and Stanford knows them very well.

This is Stanford's Superbowl and they are very capable when they play well.

I thought you had some sort of limit on your bets and couldn't lock in until like Thursday?

Stanford has no depth on the DL right now. Ben Gardner was a freak and he is out. Henry Anderson will be back but they are worried that won't get 60 snaps. Listening to our local tv show I heard Carson York, former OG, say Gardner was a wall and one of the hardest defenders to move that he went against. I do think that Skov, Murphy and the linebacker core will make life difficult in the first half. However, I would bet the 2nd half line.

Oregon is going to roll in the second half. Also, with Marshall at 207 pounds and Tyner at 218 pounds our runningbacks are considerably bigger than we've ever had. That, and Stevens at guard is our strongest OL ever.

Again, I'd wait to put money on second half. Shallow depth on the DL and what UW was able to do in the 4th quarter make this easy money.

I addressed this in my original post... and b/c of my fan affiliation, I never bet on auburn... if anything, I take a more negative opinion of our odds ATS.

objectively, Auburn isn't a good matchup for UT.

Any thoughts on Oklahoma/Baylor?

Kansas State showed the blueprint on how to play Baylor, just line up in heavy sets and shove the ball down their throats. No one Baylor has played since has the personel to do that, but Oklahoma does.

Oklahoma +15 sounds good, but I bet that if I play it, Oklahoma will do 4 receivers wide spread bullshite pass every play instead of lining up and run the ball non stop. Baylor couldn't stop it against Kansas State, and Bell is a mobile QB plus they have good RB as well.
