When they had the best oline in cfb, the best single player in cfb, and a pretty damn good every-down back. McCaleb was simply the change-up guy.
But yeah, he fit in well. Disappeared once all those other guys weren't around anymore.

So that's probably not going to stand be he could very well break CJ2K's record
Auburn was garbage the last two years and O Mac was one of the few players that actually tried. His numbers don't reflect his ability

I'll always hate McCalebb for breaking our backs in 2010.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to get official times?

TCU Tucker at 4.47 - Not bad for a guy at 220+.
This guy EXCELLENT in pass protection and will hopefully get picked up by somebody late 3rd day or as a FA. His numbers weren't great due to injury.

I'll never forget the first two games of his career in 09. He broke 100 yards in both games. La Tech and State had obviously not prepared at all and had no plan for how to contain a guy with his kind of speed.
On a side note, the only guy that ever nearly caught him was Patrick Peterson. PP was gaining on him on that 70 yard game winning run.

Did the combine as we know it even exist in the mid 80s ?

For example, Deion Sanders was lightning fast at the combine in New Orleans in 1989. By more than one account, he ran the 40 in 4.19 seconds, thought to be the second-fastest ever run at the combine (Bo Jackson has the fastest verifiable combine 40 time of 4.12 seconds in 1986). And Sanders just kept on running, Forrest Gump-style, right into the locker room. However, the key validation came when Sanders showed he was fast on the football field, as well. His speed translated to his game, which then validated the 40-yard dash.

one scout times bo jackson at 4.12 and it's some official record. it's a myth. it's not electronically-timed with lasers like today. you can't compare those times, especially how long ago it was, to today
