Playing the TPC tomorrow morning, I hope I don't mess it up too bad. At least it won't cost me anything.

Derrick doesn't ring a bell but I know Glenn and Gary. I used to play with Glenn occasionally and I took lessons from Gary about 3 years ago and see him on the range all the time.
How was your round? I've never been to Kerrville so I don't know about that course. I'm really not even sure how far away it is from horseshoe bay.
Have you played Falconhead? My FIL said its s nice course but I haven't made it out there yet. I've played Yaupon, Live Oak, The Hills Signature, and Barton Creek Fazio Foothills down there so I don't mind driving 45 mins to play. Is it at least as nice as those courses? It's on golf now a lot, from $45-$85.

I moved here to Austin from Shreveport but I didn't start playing golf until I moved here. Im going back there for a few days in late May and I'm gonna meet up with some friends to play a round. What do you suggest for about $25-$40? One of them loves to play Olde Oaks but I played there a couple years ago so I'm lookin for somethin new

Sweet. Now that I know I won't be the only fat guy, I'll video a couple this weekend.

First thing I saw... Very laid off in the backswing. Also, need to keep your right knee bent.
No hip rotation through impact. In fact, you have a little slide into the hit. Head stays down very well. Also, need some push off our right foot, to get to your left side.

I think this is due to over rotation of his hips through the backswing, and a lack of flexibility in his hamstrings. If you (iheart) could stop your swing about 1/6 of the way before you get to this position, and worked on your hip rotation (I think your hip rotation is a result of weight transfer. instead of stacking your weight on your right side, you rotate your hips to far to gain the same result). This causes you to over swing, which will lock that right knee due to momentum. Just my two cents.

It's pretty hard to rotate while your knee is bent, try it! It's much easier to turn over something that is firm (i.e. locked knee) than something that is bent. Like weave said, it's hard to keep your knee bent if you don't have the hamstring strength to do so.

It's one of the things (I was) working on
