Can you just imagine him speaking to the California press. They would need an interpreter lol. He would’t last long in the land of fruits and nuts.

He did well at USC

Napier would be a good fit for either if he gets canned by Florida.

DeBoer should take UCLA, avoid the stigma of getting canned. He can play it off that he misses the West Coast.
Nobody will buy it but he can give it a shot.

Willie Fritz has UofH at 3-0.

I would hate it if he went to VT.

They have won every game they were supposed to. Are we supposed to be impressed?

Horrible coach. Not a nice person....I hear he doesn't return buggies when he goes to the grocery.

Are you ignoring his track record of building up dead programs?

While I'm not 100% sold on our AD, Tulane is in a great spot to hire another up and coming coach. I would like Tulane and Tulane fans to get over the mindset that we aren't a stepping stone program. Trying to hire people who will never leave is what lead us to getting Scelfo over Rich Rod and Bob Toledo.

I do think that Sumrall won't bolt for the first power job that opens and offers him. He has a good thing going at Tulane so he really doesn't need to take a potential bad fit for him. I'm in no way saying Sumrall is staying at Tulane after this season but if notice good opens up I can definitely see him staying another year.

Highly doubt that this happens. Houston is the city he wanted to be in. His wife was flying back and forth to Houston weekly to be with the grandkids.

Yeah I was going to post that but spaced out and posted my response. I think Fritz is there until he is ready to 'retire' then take some A.D. type job at Houston or Sam Houston St.

Cal has a ridiculously easy schedule this year. They could easily end up 10-2 or 11-1.

Tedford is the smart hire though, feels like he should be in his mid 70s though!

Tedford has health problems, which is why he had to step down at Fresno. He's not coaching again.

Y’all aren’t getting him. Zero chance he’ll leave for that dumpster fire when he’s happy at his alma mater.

I like the idea of Jimbo to VT. That's exactly who that program needs
