How does a professional guard shoot an airball there?

He's not a true big man. Doesn't seem to be his strength anyways.

Denver with a 12 point quarter so far. Gassed.

Denver looked pathetic this quarter.

Denver clearly out of gas.

Thunder seem way over hyped. Denver giving them all they want with a serious rest disadvantage and a starter playing with one arm.

This has been one of the worst offensive games I've ever seen.

20/84 from 3
15 missed FTs

so many airballs

OKC shooting 35/24/72
Denver shooting 31/23/73

It isn't even great defense most of the time. Denver has had a ton of open looks.

Thank the NBA for having these two teams play a late game Friday that went to OT then the early game today. Both teams are tired.

The amount of wasted time and missed FTs from Den is something

Denver turned it over too much and got beat on the glass. The game played out like they needed it to but if they don’t have an advantage in those two areas they can’t win.

Denver’s a player short. Today’s bench performance can’t happen. It probably will cost them this series. OKC isn’t losing at home again.

But they can’t change that. Turning it over and getting on the glass the way they did in G1 is something they can do but it’s too late now.

Denver played like a damn high school team first quarter.

Thunder will probably blow them out again game 5 is my guess and we come back to Denver for a slugfest game 6.

Jokic has had two absolutely uncharacteristic bad games in a row by his standards.

Sure it can. There is no bench. One of many reasons they fired their GM

3 of the 4 games (excluding G2 blowout) the Nugs have only used 3 bench players. Russ is 79 of those 138 bench minutes. The starters aren’t gassed in the 4th for shits and giggles

Jokic has been terrible this series. If he played up to his normal standards, this series could be over.

If the Braun and Porter could make wide open 3s they’d be up 3-1

It's so crazy to me to go all in on young talent in the draft with Jokic in his prime. Braun was a hit so props to them on that, but no one else ever plays, and the big FA acquisition was Westbrook. I know they're hamstrung by MPJ and Murray's contracts, but damn. Gotta put more talent around Jokic than that.

He’s averaging 26, 16 and 6. Terrible by his standards? You may be right, he’s that fricking good. Any other player that’s incredible, but yes he could be doing 30, 16, 10 which speaks to his all time greatness

He’ll wake up, throw up some 40,20,15 game before this series is over

The big FA acquisition was actually Dario Saric which is embarrassing for Calvin Booth. Booth also gave him a player option for next year even further screwing the roster.

He’s had one good game. Rest has been terrible shooting with some rebounding.
