It was a tougher league then. A man’s league.

The illegal defense rule alone would allow LBJ to score 6-8 more points a game. I love 90's basketball and it will always be the golden era in my mind but it was easier for individuals to score in the 90's.

i seen a twitter video few weeks ago about the physicality of the nba then and there's no denying the league now is anything like it was then.

I think most fans just remember the Laimbeer type crazy hard fouls and assume that was happening every game, 5 times per game when in actuality those were pretty rare.

Of course the hard fouls we see nowadays, the type that they go to the table to review and we all scoff, sure those happened more. But who cares, those types of fouls aren't exactly going to slow down Lebron James.

If Mark Price and Spud Webb could exist in those days, I think Lebron could, nevermind that there's literally never in the history of the NBA been a player better equipped to handle the physicality of that era more than Lebron.

that game doesn't show the weapons the players used in the 80/90's NBA. youngsters dont understand that brass knuckles and aluminum bats were allowed on defense.

Dudes can't even help in the last one. Imagine Lebron playing basketball with dudes struggling to help out

Yeah. They act like lebron is good at basketball, but what they don't realize is the league was 100% deeper back then and everyone that Jordan faced off against would be all nba in today's modern era of teams that don't even try to play defense. Coaches were better back then too. Lebron wouldn't have been good enough to make the 90s pistons roster

The only reason they scored more points against those amazing 80s defenses was that they played 20 minute quarters

Is that Charles that comes in at the end and literally doesnt do shite as MJ puts up the easiest layup ever over a smaller guy?

If so, Barkley needs to shut the frick up about how tough he and everyone was back then

It was comical to hear Lebron on Sportcenter this morning calling out Lance Stevenson for flopping on that play he got T'd up on.

Can someone explain to me what hand checking is.

I'm not even sure it's a real thing anymore.

So LeBron would not be able to flop all the time in the 90’s.
