I always used to say, one day, the Clippers will be in the position where they could win a NBA Championship, and as a super fan, I could not wait for that day.
…
I am a Clippers fan. I’ve never been a fan of the owner. I never wanted the team to win for the owner. I am a fan of the players, the coaches, and I root for the team to win for the fans. Clipper Nation. I root for the team to win for themselves. For their dreams and aspirations.
I am buying the Los Angeles Clippers.

Wouldn't Sterling wife have a big say in any sale? I mean, Cali is a huge state for spouses, whether married or not, to take half of your money.
And he has a g-friend he prances around.

Patrick Soon-Shiong is the likely candidate

David Geffen is not black.
But that doesn't fit your narrative.

A lot of people are just running their mouth about buying. They only ones who mentioned buying the team and can actually afford it is Oprah, Magic, and Dr. Dre.
Magic can't. The guggenheim's can.

Why didn't Oprah want to buy an NBA team in the past 10 years? The Bobcats, Pelicans, Kings, Grizzles and Warriors all have ownership changes.
Why didn't she buy one then? If she wants an NBA team so badly, she had multiple opportunities to buy one and for a much cheaper price

I'm not the one using offensive slurs on other posters who point out that you're cherry-picking the facts for this story through your racist-colored glasses.
And if you read the story before proposing your thesis that black people are trying to steal his team, you'd know that Oprah is only one person in a larger group trying to pool their money to buy the team. And the people she is pooling her resources with to buy team are mostly WHITE.
Oh, let me guess. Liberals.

I wonder what they would say if Mit Romney threw his name into the mix.

Are only blacks interested in the team?
