If Notre Dame loses to the only other team with a pulse on their schedule in Miami I don't care if they have 2 losses their SOS should not allow them in. You do not and should not be rewarded for losing the only 2 teams with a pulse on your schedule. This is the year committee is suppose to look at SOS to decide so sorry ND, stop scheduling so many cupcakes while SEC teams are on a murder's row of games.

They have wins over teams with a combined 19-26 record.

Notre Dame shouldn't be in period. They lost to BYU. With their cake schedule, they're done. IMO, they needed to go undefeated with this soft arse schedule to get in, and they couldn't do it.

CFP needs to send a message. You can't dilute your SOS to this extreme and still expect to get in without going undefeated.

There are half a dozen SEC teams that would go 12-0 or 11-1 with Notre Dame's schedule - yet they'll all finish the season with 2-4 losses as a result of playing a grueling SEC schedule week to week. Conversely, Notre Dame would be a 3-4 loss team in the SEC and a complete afterthought.

. Agree, but just wait until it goes to a 24 team playoff. There will be cupcakes literally all over the place, and quite a few boring games.

What are talking about? That's the reason to go to 24. Not every team plays these cupcake schedule. It's not equal.

On their 2nd series. On their first they went right down for 7

Navy is doing the damn thing so far tho. They need to punch it in here.

Even a close win over Navy should eliminate ND from contention (if they lose next week)

Meanwhile, NDs only quality win in Wisconsin is getting their shite pushed in by unranked Iowa.

Pretty big rivalry game. Records don’t always matter.
