As long as they're an independent. Join the Big10, ACC, PAC 12 or whatever.

Seems well thought out.

Great reasoned and thought out argument. 10/10, would read again.

Won’t they have a better resume’ than even Alabama if they are both undefeated?

I don’t see how you could arguably leave them out.

Assuming they are undefeated.

Here's a better idea--how about the SEC trade Vandy for Notre Dame?

Better athletics, high level of academics. They just bring more to the table.

Notre Dame’s season is EASILY more legitimate and respectable than Alabama’s.

Geography?

I mean, Kentucky shares a border with Indiana.

And let's face it, Missouri and Texas A&M aren't exactly in the Southeast either.

ETA: besides, who would be more exciting to see in Tiger Stadium: Vandy, or Notre Dame?

I mean they play 5 ACC games per year through 2037 so close enough for me. Dumb.

They are beating a team that lost to Old Dominion. This isn’t impressive.

I don’t understand all the hate. They’ve played a good schedule and they’ve looked impressive.

As long as the Big 12 is allowed in, Notre Dame should be allowed in.

You shouldn't be allowed near a computer, you mental defective.

Conferences are like labor unions, they only exist to protect the weak, lazy and stupid.

They’re pretty much a shoe in right now. And this pains me to say but every time I root against a team really hard they always win so I give up

It's no big deal - let them in at #4. They will just be an easy "in" to the final for a legit #1 team.

Maybe, but it's close. Probably a toss-up with no tangible separation.

Notre Dame has played two ACC teams this year. They also have wins against the Big Ten, SEC, and Pac-12.
