This is such a great comparison

This idea that ND is exceptionally better since the beginning of the season is absolute nonsense. They have beaten nobody for weeks

I remember when I said I didn’t want a playoff and everyone said we had to have one. I said people would bitch about who did and didn’t get in the playoffs. People said it wouldn’t matter.

Yet here we are. Notre Dame will not be left out of the playoff. They will find a way to get them in. I hate what college football has become!

I’m with you on the playoff being to big. 4 was perfect. Should be 4 again not bigger.

Yeah, after OU won that greatly diminished any chance of both ND and Miami making it. Bama winning would make it pretty much impossible for that to happen.

I mean at the end of the day we are arguing over spot #10 in a playoff that will almost certainly end in Ohio state or Uga winning it all. This is all just message board nonsense. CFB is down so bad this year. Everyone can be picked apart other than those 2 teams.

Ohio St will be tough to beat. But I can also see Bama, ND or Georgia winning it all.

Miami shouldn't have lost in Week 9 to SMU if they didn't want to gamble their fate.

Miami 27 - Notre Dame 24
Advantage: Miami

Common Opponents:

Miami 42 - Stanford 7
Notre Dame - Stanford (tonight)
Advabtage: TBD

Miami 38 - Syracuse 10
Notre Dame 70 - Syracuse 7
Advantage: Notre Dame

Miami 41 - NC State 7
Notre Dame 36 - NC State 7
Advantage: Miami

Miami 38 - Pitt 7
Notre Dame 37 - Pitt 15
Advantage: Miami

Miami 3 - Notre Dame 1

Miami should get in playoff over Notre Dame if it comes down to those 2

Miami just beat the shite out of Notre Dame's second best win (Pitt).
Notre Dame's best win (USC) is losing at halftime.

Bama (assuming they win tonight)

With a loss in the seccg bama would have 3 losses, no hardware, and lost their most recent game. I have no idea why people think it's a foregone conclusion they'd be in at that point.

Pitt called a timeout to score a TD with 5 seconds left against ND in a game that “didn’t matter” to them. Likewise, Cristobal was calling shot plays with Beck at the end of the game to score with 22 seconds left to make it look like a bigger win. ACC is a bunch of cheese balls.

Do you penalize Bama for playing the SECCG and award Miami for missing the ACCCG?
