These teams are laying the wood and it’s fun to watch.
Even with the advent of passing games, you still have to be able to run the ball to really be an elite team. For all the hoopla about 2019 LSU's passing attack they still ran for 2500 yards with Clyde getting almost 1500 of that, it's not like they were June Jones teams throwing 70 passes a game. That strategy still isn't going contend for titles and probably never will.
LSU only ran for 1500 as a team this year. If that doesn't improve next year don't expect the record to.
