Them to pass.
There are countless examples of students in schools from that same demographic succeeding, and by succeeding I mean far beyond simply passing a state examination.
Even if a significant part of their mission is to prep kids for careers rather than postsecondary, that is horrendous.
With all the resources at their disposal, there is no excuse.

I guess the idea is that the kids aren’t getting any better, yet James gets all the humanitarian praise without the results… the whole while he is an absolute smug toolbag that believes he is the smartest guy in the room, so much as to question others intelligence frequently.
In summary, that shite is a PR scam and frick LeBron

Isn't the whole purpose of this school to help underprivileged children succeed?

They’d probably be passing if they were getting “world-class education”
Naw. Over the course of a calendar year, a kid spends all of about 15-20% of his or her time awake in the classroom. The problem is the 80-85% of time awake spent at home with shitty parents on a shitty back alley in a shitty neighborhood.

Typical chicken shite liberal. All that money and he wouldn't even fund his own school.
Always about the headlines not the results.

Not really. Takes all types to make the world go round. Trying to pretend that everyone can or needs to learn math and great literature is a fool’s errand and an enormous waste of resources. Some people are better at / more suited for other things and that’s okay.

That article makes me doubt that the Gateway Pundit could pass an 8th grade test covering comma use.

He is doing those students a disservice
Sorry I hope that didn’t come across as racist Lester, SFP, and boosie

Half the children in this country arent cognitively capable of a HS degree despite the low bar. We still somehow allow them to pass..

Yes, but that point is certainly not pre-8th grade, which is what these kids are. I don’t care what vocation you choose, chances are you’ll be a dismal failure if you never got a reasonable grasp on 8th grade-level math.

Doesn't the UK weed students out at 13-14? So as not to waste everybody's time with liberal fantasies and wasteful government funding.

I’m pretty sure you need at least 8th grade math for CAM and plumbing.

I'm pretty sure your electrician should know at least high school physics dealing with electricity and all.
My guess is that you want your mason to know that x equals 3 if 2x=6
