They also beat Georgia, Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Tennessee.

All 4 are better than any win on BYU’s resume.

You can’t penalize one team and reward another for CCG results

Bama beat that Georgia team at Georgia.

BYU got beat both times.

A shite ton of people on this board think Bama's win in Athens is now completely negated because they lost yesterday.

These people just can't see through their hate for Bama. The committee got it right.

Dropping BYU a spot was just a flimsy excuse for why they were about to move Miami in front of Notre Dame.

The real reason was because the committee knew they had fricked up by having Notre Dame too high for too long and they couldn't just say that so they were gradually replacing them with Miami over a few weeks time and making up bullshite to do so.

They can't say that so they have to like invent bizarre reasons for the moves.

They have actually done this several times over the years. They should really stop putting out rankings earlier in the season as those rankings are often times horribly flawed and when they try to "fix" them it creates obvious bullshite they have to do.

FSU being left out of the playoff is still by far the biggest travesty in CFB history.

Since the birth of the playoffs, only one team didn’t drop a single spot after losing its conf champ game: 2025 Bama

Since the birth of the playoffs, only one non conf champ 3 loss team made the playoffs: 2025 Bama

Who is BYU’s best win? How does it compare to Bama’s?

Bama’s best win easily is better than Ohio State’s. So Ohio State should be ranked below Bama is what you are saying?

They didn’t want to render conference title games meaningless. Which they should have

Just the opposite. They did render the conference title games meaningless, explicitly by having Bama see no effect from not just losing but getting blown out completely.

BYU had close wins over Colorado, Arizona, and Utah. They were the beneficiary of bad calls in the latter two. They weren’t as good as their record led people to believe they were.

Bama had close wins over Auburn and South Carolina. What's your point?

When it comes to conference title games:

Ohio St dropped to second place for losing.

Indiana gained first place for winning.

UVA tumbled for losing.

Tulane, who beat nobody with a pulse, won a playoff spot for winning.

In 2023, FSU dropped all the way out after a win bc it wasn’t a pretty win. FSU failed the eye test. Bama was the beneficiary, of course.

But Bama gets whipped, and suddenly teams shouldn’t be penalized for playing in conference title games. So a brand new justification, never before used until this year and even this year only used to protect Bama. And ignore your lying eyes and only look Bama’s wins. No eye test applied to bama this year.

Bama privilege. It’s galling that any lsu fan would support the constant assistance given only to Bama. Esp after the eye test propelled Bama to a 2011 rematch ahead of a conf champ that won it’s conf title game and had a better overall resume.
