I think TheOcean is privy to some exculpatory evidence regarding social media that he can't post here that he knows will make it impossible for the state to bring rape charges.
Is that accurate?
Is that accurate?

I'm not privy to any specifics, never claimed to be.
Just posting the smoke from the inside sources is that Meggs has just about all the evidence he needs. And based on that evidence Winston is not going to be charged.
I doubt we'll ever see what comes from the e-records, but from what has been talked about, it's pretty damning stuff and puts a ton of holes in her story.

Yeah, I didn't mean like inside source privy, but apparently there is so much shite that this chick put out there after what allegedly happened that it will very difficult to bring charges.

How long does it normally take to subpoena some of these records? I'm guessing this what the delay is for.

In civil cases, you have to give 10 days notice before you serve a subpoena to make sure the other side has time to object to records being produced, so the court can determine that the objection is valid. Criminal rules are different, but I would imagine that there is the same or similar type of notice/due process requirement.

That would fit the two week timeline

Yep. I don't think the delay has anything to do with anything other than Meggs doing a CYA, dotting the i's and crossing the t's. However, I think all of the shite that is being posted in the meantime on other sites/outlets goes directly to the reason why the cops stopped working it up.

It could be. But they still handled it like a junior high crossing guard. They didn't pass on any findings to their superiors or to the SOA. You would think if they actually did all this work before that 1) they wouldn't have to be doing it again and 2) they'd have reported their evidence to the higher ups.

Did TheOcean get banned?

Tallahassee is a podunk town for a capital city, a bit like BR. But the way the rape shield laws are, they really hamstring the police from saying anything, and rightfully so.

"Contributing to the delay is the fact that one of the top assistants is involved with a capital murder case next week.
"Believe it or not, we have other cases we're involved with; we haven't shut down our office to focus entirely on this case," William Meggs, state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, Fla., told ESPN.com."

And don't think for a second that, at the very least support staff, state workers aren't getting/taking extended holidays around Thanksgiving. So who is going to do the leg work?

I can't say, but I have some old social media screen shots that I believe will exonerate him.

If so, why would she continue to pursue charges? If she tweeted or posted things on FB the would "put holes in her story" she would have known that shite would be found and brought up. Her life at FSU is now ruined whether he gets charged or not. Why put herself through all of that if he didn't rape her?

If Meggs has just about all the evidence he needs... then explain [link=(THIS)]https://tracking.si.com/2013/11/26/florida-state-jameis-winston-ruling-likely-after-acc-championship-game/[/link].
If he is innocent why are they trying to drag this out further and further? If all the evidence is there how come the claims (from the same people who claim the evidence) that the case will be dropped always is false?
Why are the stalling?
It looks like a whole lot of corruption and not just the TPD if you ask me. Looks like they want to make sure Jameis continues to play to ensure a NCG appearance and a Heisman.
