Is the case still getting dropped today or did they move the drop date to tomorrow? 
Next rumor will be "case will be dropped Friday". They can't be that dumb, so they'll soon realize it was announced no decision would be made till after Thanksgiving.

That same idiot posted Thursday night that the case would be dropped last Friday.
Clearly he has inside sources, but it's just a "fluid situation".

Yeah I was 50/50 on that possibility but 808 has been pretty fair with things and was wondering if he had indeed seen something from a trusted source on Twitter perhaps.

I know right. Who knows, he very well might be innocent but were they there to know he was? So until the FACTS come out, or at least more facts than we presently have, this "innocent" business is based on being a fan and nothing else, which is sad considering the nature of the allegations.

Of course no one really knows but most people who aren't just taking a side seem to think there's probably a lot of gray area (like, for example, the girl's story may have some inconsistencies that would make actually winning the case for the prosecution very difficult but not enough to perhaps overcome their belief that she could have actually been raped.)
I'm not saying this based on any real knowledge of this case but just experience with college campus acquaintance rape cases in general.

wm72 isn't necessarily wrong. But we're only 2 weeks in. Speedy trial doesn't mean speedy pressing of charges. Heck, these days speedy trial doesn't even mean speedy trial. Meggs says he needs more time so I think maybe we wait like another week. I know that seems impossible what with all the kids wanting to open the presents and "are we there yet?" But not everything is a microwave oven.

exactly, gather as much evidence as possible now so that they don't waste time and money later
Only charge if there is enough evidence for a possible conviction

what do you expect to happen here? They've grown to love him via his public appearances and know very little about the girl. It is a he said vs she said story at this point
If it comes out that he raped her and they still support him, then I'll bash their fanbase
