Analytics say go for 2 there in the 4th quarter, especially with the Bills penalty.

Do analytics take into account that your goal line offense has been a Death Star sized sump pump this game?

This thread is about to blow up into another argument about whether to go for 2 or not

I agree - every time I post it in a game thread it gets downvotes and ppl get really upset

This where analytics is stupid. Statistically, yes it might be a decent decision at that point, but failing to get it causes significant detriment and it is still not a gimme.

This is why analytics in and of themselves doesn’t win titles.

That it was the right play statistically but clearly not going to work 100% of the time

Beasley/Diggs are a great duo for this offense. They play their parts extremely well

The cap won't allow it. So yes, that is an absolute.

If they trade him post June 1, the cap hit in 2021 and 2022 would be $17.9M and it would be $8.6M in 2023.

So no, it's not impossible, especially for a franchise that needs a full blown rebuild and would probably be best served acquiring as many draft picks as possible for the next two years.

They're nowhere close to competing. It needs to be torn down to the studs like the Dolphins were.
