Honest question: Why is Herbert considered the consensus fifth best quarterback in the NFL? I can understand being enamored with his arm talent which is incredible but his numbers have never warranted being ranked that high. He’s not a better quarterback than Jared Goff or Baker Mayfield. I don’t think he’s even better than Matthew Stafford. He’s a fringe top 10 quarterback who’s very good but far from great.
