Inspired by the jersey number list

WR: 49ERS--Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Gene Washington, Dwight Clark
TE: CHIEFS--Tony Gonzalez, Travis Kelce
OL: RAIDERS—Gene Upshaw, Art Shell, Jim Otto, Steve Wisniewski
DL: VIKINGS--Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, Chris Doleman, John Randle, Jared Allen
OLB: STEELERS--Jack Ham, Kevin Greene, James Harrison, Andy Russell, Greg Lloyd
MLB: BEARS--Mike Singletary, Dick Butkus, Brian Urlacher
CB: RAIDERS—Willie Brown, Charles Woodson, Mike Haynes, Lester Hayes
S: STEELERS--Troy Polamaulu, Donnie Shell, Carnell Lake
K: CHIEFS--Jan Stenerud, Nick Lowery
P: RAIDERS--Ray Guy, Shane Lechler

Others worth mentioning off the top of my head

Center - Dolphins - HoF Jim Langer, HoF Dwight Stephenson

Should be noted the Cowboys had a HoF DT from the day they opened their door in 1960 to 1988 in Bob Lilly and Randy White.

Jerry Rice by himself wins this category.

so for the sake of fairness, i'm removing him from discussion, because he's just way too far ahead of anyone else.

the Vikings have a good group too
Moss and Carter are a really damn good 1 & 2
with a young stud like Jefferson having potential to climb high.

Well the TE is not Tony Gonzalez and Kelce it is John Mackey and Dallas Clark from the Colts.

You can possibly say Gates and Winslow from the Chargers are better than Gonzalez and Kelce as well.

That was my second choice and it’s not bad.

I forgot about Gates

I don't think they beat out either the Vikings or 49ers.

But the Bengals had Chad Johnson and TJ Housemanzadah, AJ Green, and now Jamarr Chase.

That's a pretty solid group. They've probably had other strong candidates from before that I don't know of, but I only started watching football in early 2000s.

Dallas Clark doesn’t belong in the same category as the rest of those guys. Moronic take...
