The NFL is officially requesting proposals for future regular season games in Germany. The goal is to ID a host city.

Eventually the NFL may play a game or two a year actually in America.

Can't wait for the first NFL game in China, shortly followed by the first game on the moon

Have been to a few NFL Europe games. Was a diehard Scottish Claymores fan.

Nah son Frankfurt Galaxy FTW
Saints back-up QB Jake Delhomme was a member of the Galaxy after spending a season with the Amsterdam Admirals
Delhomme was perhaps the only NFLE player I actually tried to watch b/c he was an active member of the Saints roster who could get legit playing time on Sundays in the fall

The Germans LOVED NFL Europe.
If you're going to play NFL games in Europe, Germany is definitely the right call, maybe even moreso than the UK. It is by far the biggest and most serious American football contingent for both players and fans in the continent, and they have some beautiful stadiums to host. They get 2 - 3M NFL viewers per week out of Germany.

They keep pissing off the fans and they’re gonna have to play more games in Europe

Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich could all be suitable host sites.
They will probably go with Berlin.

Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt isn't that big. Hamburg, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, and Stuttgart have larger stadiums.

Stuttgart makes sense with its proximity to American servicemen.
But they will almost certainly go with Berlin you would think.

If the NFL wants a true developmental league, to expand their footprint and make more revenue, they should seriously consider bringing Europe, Canada and USA together for a new "World League" merger. Europe loves American Football, obviously the CFL has been successful and if they could find American markets without NFL teams, it would have a legit shot to make it.
NFL WORLD LEAGUE:
European League:
London Monarchs
Scottish Claymores
Barcelona Dragons
Rhein Fire
Frankfurt Galaxy
Cologne Centurions
Berlin Thunder
Amsterdam Admirals
Hamburg Sea Devils
Canadian League:
Toronto Argonauts
Montreal Alouettes
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Calgary Stampeders
BC Knights
Ottawa Redblacks
Edmonton Elks
Hamilton Tigercats
American League:
Columbus
San Antonio
St Louis
Milwaukee
Oklahoma City
Birmingham
Memphis
Raleigh
Orlando
Feb-May timeframe. 12 game regular season schedule. 8 league games. 4 crossover games consisting of 2 each from the other leagues. 8 team playoff. All 3 division winners. Top 2 teams get a bye. The remaining teams get seeded by record or by SoS if the records are identical. Could be really cool.

I think it would be extremely beneficial to have some of these young kids who have never left their hometown before travel and live in a foreign country. It gives a lot of perspective

Yeah the Germans actually really like American Football.
The Brits just like the spectacle of those awful Wembley games.
If the NFL actually ever wanted a European team in the league, forget Jags to London. Brits aren't turning up for a full season. Germany would.
