The Plan for London, is they will build a practice facility on East coast.
Teams would head there on Mon-Tues. Practice till friday, then fly to london from Eastern practice facility, and have a base there, where they do their walk thrus and then play the London team
Dumb
Build the practice facility in the UK. Fly teams out well in advance of the game. Let them bring family. It would be a great exeperience.

100% against this. Now we will have to listen to "God Save the Queen" every dam game that London is in
We have to listen to O Canada, for every game in an American arena, when a team from Canada is there, why melt about something so insignificant?

Jerruh will never let an NFL team move to San Antonio. That’s Cowboys Country.
So maybe it would happen after he kicks it.

This 100%. There's a reason Usain Bolt avoided the UK like the plague.
If I remember correctly, the UK wants a piece of every single athletes' endorsement monies, regardless of how often they actually perform there.

Not biggest fan of that weasel, but they were smart enough to tape and save every thing Dumboff said.
Their show doesn't take many thing very seriously, but when they do take things seriously, they can do really good work. The work they did on covering all of the Rams to LA stuff was probably the best in the city.
It didn't hurt that 101 had to kind of sit out from it because of the contract. Although, I imagine Randy Karriker would be more than happy to participate in anything McKernan would put together.

Because Football is a uniquely American sport. Anyway...Its not THAT big of deal, just more of an annoyance.

An 5:00pm kickoff in London is 9am on the west coast. Not sure why you don't think this is an option.

Jetlag is not that big of a factor for such a small difference so don't say that
Yes, it is possible, but is it profitable? It's also possible to play in Los Angeles, San Diego, Buffalo, and Jacksonville.
And none of this even addresses the field conditions for subsequent soccer games.
Small things start to add up when running a business.

I believe there was an issue with taxes for visiting teams, back when this shite first started. I don't know about the UK tax system, but it was a concern.

So if this is such a dire situation, and the NFL and the owners are seriously considering doing something about the situation, then EVERYTHING should be on the table...including San Antonio which makes perfect sense. frick Jerry Jones...good thing you only need 2/3 of the owners to approve a move. Jerry can flex all he wants, but if the owners are in fact serious about fixing the situation, and San Antonio ends up being the best option....then Jerry can't do shite about it despite always hearing "Jerry wont allow it".

NBA players have issues adjusting to living in Toronto and dealing with little shite like different cable channels and requiring a Canadian bank account. And this is for a country jokingly referred to as the 51st state.
That is a 15 man roster in a sport, and specifically a team, which is heavy on international players.
An NFL team would be 50+ players from a sport that is almost exclusively drawn from Americans being stationed in a foreign country. While the language is the same, British culture is a far cry from US culture in a number of ways.
Like I said, this is way overblown. Americans live/work overseas all the time. London isn't nearly as difficult as people act like it in this thread.
I'm not suggesting it's the best idea - I believe there are better ideas - but people acting likt it would be so difficult are nuts.
MLB is considering Mexico City too. These are massive entitities, they can figure this out.

I'll preface these questions by saying I'm asking because I truly don't know. I'm not being sarcastic:
Are the NFL games packed because it's an event or because there truly is a core NFL fanbase?
Can they support 8 games instead of the 2 they currently do?
Would the quality of the team impact attendance more or less there than it does here?
ETA: is it two games a year currently or 4?
Sports culture is different over there due to is tribal nature.
There are plenty of American Football haters over there but people would travel from all over to watch the games. Even from mainland europe
The fans were surprisingly knowledgeable and learning their story how they picked each team was pretty cool. You would also have plenty of fans of the visiting team each week who would come to the game from either the US or Europe.
Not to mention the multiple US military bases in England and Europe that will always have people attending games.

When we get a new spaceship, I definitely want a franchise on the moon.
Or at least an exhibition game.

I was also at this game. It was a good crowd but the only energy there was from saints fans who traveled. I’m sure it would be better with a team that’s based in London, but in my opinion this is an absolute travesty what the NFL has done to the Chargers
If you go on NFLUK forums you'll see everyone has their own teams and they all say they wouldn't switch just because a team was in London.
I'm sure you saw it at the game with the myriad of jerseys. They were just there for the spectacle.

I went to Wembley. During our walk up from the train station we started counting all of the different jerseys. We found all 32 teams before we sat down in our seats.
The walkup to Wembley was a sight to behold. It was like the Poydras walk on steroids. Lots of Saints fans made the trip but the stadium was about 85% locals.
London had a great following when the NFL-Europe was in existence.
I am 100% convinced London would support a team and would eventually be considered a major market team like LA, Dallas, NY, Houston, and Chicago

I would bet anything that the NFLPA would come out strongly against this. Not that they would have any actual real say about it, but they can still voice their opinions and i would be that they would oppose a franchise in London.
