I listened to Russillo’s podcast and they talked about the Jag’s love in London and how it was the greatest success of propaganda ever convincing them the jags were worth rooting for.

I think of any team goes to London it’s the Jags. The chargers should be in Whale’s Vagina or St. Louis, but Spanos would never move to St. Louis.

Live is different than play in. London is my favorite city so I agree its better than St. Louis. But I’d hate hate hate to play over here

I believe the ownership can’t be spanos in St. Louis. The reason it’s dragged out this long with original St. Louis Rumors a few months ago was because it had to be a local ownership here in St. Louis.

I attended the Saints versus dolphins game two years ago. The stadium was packed with fans. The environment was incredible. I really think London is a viable market for American football

I was also at this game. It was a good crowd but the only energy there was from saints fans who traveled. I’m sure it would be better with a team that’s based in London, but in my opinion this is an absolute travesty what the NFL has done to the Chargers.

The travesty comes from the hoteliers and the ppl of the City of San Diego

The NFL didn’t “do” anything to the Chargers. The Spanos family wanted the move and the rest of the league grudgingly went along with it because it came in the middle of a Rams move to LA and a Raiders move to Vegas.

What was the league supposed to do, force a sale by the Spanos family to someone else who could deal in good faith with SD?

Actually the NFL gave the chargers a 1 year window to move it LA followed by a 1 year window for the raiders to move to LA if the chargers declined. The best move would be to shift the raiders to LA and chargers to Vegas given the stadiums and fan bases

The tax situation can never be settled. The poor Brits are already fricked on a daily basis by their supposed leaders who won’t even honor a duly voted on leaving of the EU. Now you want to station a team of millionaires over there exempt from taxes ? They already have a ruling class. They don’t need a bunch of Jermaine Whiteheads over there to rub their noses in it anymore.

This x 1,000,000

The raiders have an established following already.

LV is a transient town anyway. The chargers should have been there

Phillip Rivers ain't moving to London. Dude will retire before that happens. Then London is going to be stuck with one of the shittiest teams in the NFL. I can also see rookies pulling some Manning moves to avoid having to move to Europe.

NFL only cares about adding the European market. They do not care about good football. Harsh reality.

I don't think St Louis could swing local ownership unless Jack Dorsey wants to move home and own the team. (He is moving some businesses here, which is awesome)

But Stillman has most of his worth tied up in the Blues. The Dewitts have most their worth tied up in the Cardinals. And Kavanaugh and the Taylors are putting a ton of money into the MLS team and stadium.

There isn't anyone here currently that I'm aware of that could be the 51% guy. There are a lot of minority owner candidates though.

Which will be familiar to the 5 Chargers fans left considering that the “original” Manning move was to force Eli from SD to NYC.

The original rumors I heard was that the reason the MLS renderings came out 3-4 weeks later than expected was because they had been in talks with the nfl. They wanted to have an idea if they should make the stadium suitable for an NFL team. That could be the answer to it.

Clearly time zones aren’t a big deal

So what time do you play the games, with consideration for jet lag and broadcasting?

Mexico city - You couldn't get players to want to live there.

London - Possible, but logistics are tough.

Austin and SA - blocked by Jones

Sn Diego - they should still have the team

STL - NFL would have to pay for everything or just about

NFL needs to force Spanos kids to either sell or get a deal done with SD, SA, StL, or SLC. They need to be back in San Diego..it's a shame to waste Arnold's Austrian SuperChargers sound byte.

Hell no to London or Mexico City or Toronto. And good luck in getting free agents to any of the three..most NFL players aren't making MLB or NBA dinero. Maybe one day, but not now nor near. And don't let Khan drag the Jags there either.

jet lag hits people differently. I for one can do it with no issue, my buddy who I normally go to England with needs at least 1-2 days of little to no movement.

London, as cool as it sounds, just doesnt work unfortunatly.
