Yep, all i wanted was a good divisional game that comes down to the end and the refs have ruined that. Hopefully saints and Buccaneers game is close.

Also its crazy how the rule is applied
If the ball went out on the 1 and he fubled on the 3 the ball goes back to the 3 if it goes into the endzone it dwaps teams and put on the 20 it is an established rule but still drastic.

It goes back to force. What force put the ball in the EZ? The fumble was the force that put the ball in the EZ of the defending team, thus you get a touchback and a change of possession.

LOL. I get downvoted b/c I actually explain the rules and the reason behind why the touchback was called. All you downvoters need to go volunteer at your local high school football officials organization since you know so much.
