He's dead serious. That's why the red streaks on the helmets are oriented the way they are.
And, IMO, these aren't bad unis. MUCH better than a LOT of what Adidas has put out recently.

I love when Nike keeps the uniforms pretty plain overall, and uses the accessories to splash accent colors on.
Using the socks, compression shirt, gloves, cleats, etc. to accent the overall uniform.
Even with the helmet.
They shy away from just slapping a logo on a helmet.
They make the whole helmet a logo. Like the Cincinnati Bengals. They don't have a logo on their helmet. Their helmet itself is painted like a bengal.
Nike does the same, but more subtle.
I think you guys need to appreciate the artistry of the uniforms Nike comes up with more.

Uniforms are like everything in college football now...out of control. I am by no means suggesting the dicks at the NCAA take this over too. But the chrome, the helmet logos being placed on the back, the flat black colors, etc. Is this really how you have to recruit kids these days?

Do we even need to start "______'s new uniform" threads at this point?
Every single team(outside of the tOSU, PSU, LSU, and USC's of CFB) has 5 new uniforms each season and most all of them are turrible.
